Terms of use

What this site is. Lot Wisdom publishes trim-by-trim car buyer's guides built from published facts. It is information only, not financial, legal or purchase advice. Prices, specs and ratings change, so always confirm on the window sticker and with the dealer.

Videos and YouTube. Our review videos play in the YouTube embedded player, so this site uses YouTube API Services. By using the video player on this site, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Independent. Lot Wisdom is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by any automaker. Brand and model names are used only to identify vehicles. Trademarks belong to their owners.

Accuracy. We work from the maker's published numbers, the EPA and NHTSA, and we show the check date. We still can make mistakes, and the site is provided as is, without warranties.

Other sites. Links to YouTube and to government sources open on those sites, which have their own terms and privacy practices.

Changes. We may update these terms and this page. The date at the top shows the latest update.

Privacy

What we collect. Lot Wisdom has no accounts, sign-ups, comments or forms, and the site itself does not collect personal information. We do not run ads or sell data.

Traffic stats. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly way to count visits. It gives us aggregate numbers such as page views and countries, and it does not use cookies to follow you around the web.

Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles your request (including your IP address) to deliver the pages and to keep the site secure.

YouTube videos. When a video player loads, YouTube (Google) may receive information about your visit and collect data when you play a video. We use the privacy-enhanced embed (youtube-nocookie.com) and keep autoplay off. Google's handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your tools. The Compare and Find tools run in your browser. Your picks are not sent to us.
